Here’s a round up of some UTP highlights for the month of September.

Kue Young’s Circumpolar Health Atlas was a runner-up for the International Cartographic Association’s Map Award in the Atlases Category.

The Natural History of Canadian Mammals is a finalist in the 2013 Ottawa Book Awards – Non-Fiction category. The Ottawa Book Awards will be presented on October 22nd, 2013.

Rotman School of Management hosted a launch for Reconstructing Value, edited by Elizabeth Kurucz, Barry Colbert, and David Wheeler, on September 5.

Donald Smith gave a talk based on his book Mississauga Portraits at Trent University on September 24.

J.L. Little launched Patrician Liberal at Simon Fraser University on September 27.

Toronto’s Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art hosted a launch for Subversive Itinerary: The Thought of Gad Horowitz, co-edited by Shannon Bell and peter kulchinsky, on September 28.
